If you're engaged and haven't been to a bridal show yet, this is your sign.

The Bridal Extravaganza is happening this Sunday from 12–5 PM at the Henry B. González Convention Center, and yes, Granberry Hills will be there!

A bridal show can be a LOT. There are vendors everywhere, you're collecting brochures, someone is handing you a cupcake, another person wants you to spin a wheel, and suddenly you have 47 things to look at and no idea what you actually needed.

So, before you head downtown, here's our Granberry Insider game plan to make the day a little less overwhelming.

1. Have a game plan before you walk in

Think about what you still need.

Still looking for a venue? Start with the venues.

Need a DJ? Spend some time talking to DJs.

Still searching for a photographer? Go check out photographers.

Make a list of your priorities before you go so you can focus on the things you actually need and remember, you don’t have to talk to every vendor!

2. Do yourself a favor and print labels

Trust us on this one.

Have labels made ahead of time with your:

Name
Wedding date
Email
Phone number
Mailing address

That way, when a vendor asks you to fill something out (and you’ll be filling out a lot!), you can just slap a label on it and move on.

Because nobody wants to spend five hours writing their email address over and over again.

3. Use the ProScan

The Bridal Extravaganza offers ProScan, so make sure you take advantage of it.

It can make collecting information from vendors much easier, especially when you're talking to a lot of people throughout the day.

And when you get home, you'll actually be able to remember who you talked to.

4. Come ready to make some decisions

If you've been waiting to book your vendors, the Bridal Extravaganza can be a great time to do it.

There are Bridal Bucks being offered by participating vendors, which can give you special savings when you book at the show.

For example, Granberry Hills is offering $500 off when you book with us that day!

Other vendors will have their own specials, so if you're seriously considering someone, ask what they're offering specifically for Bridal Extravaganza.

Just remember: read the fine print and make sure you understand what you're booking before putting down a deposit.

5. Don't skip the fun stuff

It's not all business!

There will be game shows and opportunities to win prizes, plus the opportunity to register for the Grand Prize.

And if you book a vendor at the show, you can also register for Cash for Contracts, giving you another chance to win money toward your wedding.

Basically, you came to plan your wedding, so you might as well try to win something while you're there.

Who knows? You might just win your dream wedding at Granberry Hills!
